Sunday Sep 01, 2019
We have been journeying through Colossians. Paul encourages us to think of living in heavenly ways here on earth and reminds us that we are seated with Christ in heavenly places. In this message by John Crumpton, he reminds us of the process of becoming a New Creation in Christ and that your old self is dead. Even though we sometimes find ourselves in old pattens & behaviors before Christ, you are still alive in Christ- that is your New Identity.

John Crumpton- Colossians- Week 20
Sunday Aug 25, 2019
Sunday Aug 25, 2019
We have been journeying through Colossians. Paul helps us come to an understanding of our position in Christ, and then from there, what our response should be as believers. We need to put to death the religious way of thinking by trying to "do good" to earn a good position with God. We need to step into our new identity- it is not about "doing" but rather about "being", when we put our faith in the finished work of the cross. We need to be living with the perspective of eternity.
